Succinctly Yours - Unrequited Love

Word of the week: whack

Do Opposites Really Attract?
Smokey and Raggedy Ann were the original odd couple.
(53) - Jerry

Tough Love
Smokey would not snuggle with her, so Raggedy Ann gave him a whack on the head.
He began to think twice about this barely-there relationship.
(139) - Pat

Feet of Clay Fiberfill
I dunno about getting serious, Raggedy Ann--we’re different species.
But Smokey, we’re the same inside—polyester fiberfill.
(122) - Pat

The Curse of the Fiery Celtic Redhead
Raggedy Ann could not bear the thought of losing Smokey. Maybe if her hair were blonde, not red…Yes, that was it! He’d change his mind.
(137) - Pat

Grandma's Goulash is hosting a microfiction meme called "Succinctly Yours," where you can write either a 140-character or 140-word micro-story based on the photo she posts and/or the word of the day, so you have plenty of room to be creative! Join the fun at Grandma's Goulash.

Really good this week, Jerry and Pat (in order that I read them, why does Jerry get to be first this week?).

For me the best was first, next second (I do hate to hear of people getting whacked, though) and so on.

Great quartet. I liked the filler one best.

A fabulous quartet this week. I enjoyed them all, but feet of fiberfill was my favorite.

I know some people that I promise you would be better people if they were fiberfilled. - just kidding, sort of.
