My son let me tell you of Ned
A young buck who would not be led
He wandered away
from his herd one fine day
And ended up losing his head

Why am I the only Mustang with school spirit here?

Well, I was told that if I wore this Mustang T-shirt,
people would think I was a horse
and since people do not shoot horses,
I'd be safe.

You are both entirely too clever!!! How fun! All three are terrific! Hope you've had a great weekend, it's miserable here, cold, snowy, windy! Yuk!! Ah, well, I love it most of the time! Enjoy your week!
Sylvia
Pat, all three are brilliant! I am in awe of your productivity!
I echo Sylvia: it's foul weather up in the Pacific NW. Hope the sun is shining in Garden Valley and that you and Jerry have a nice Thanksgiving.
Michael
All 3 are great again this week!
Good ones, Pat. I love the second one, even though you didn't make up most of it. LOL
Jerry -- there was a movie, but maybe I'm older than you are, called "They Shoot Horses, Don't They?" but the they, in that case, wasn't hunters, just the great unidentified "they" we hear about all the time.

Oooo I love all three of those. I don't think I have a favorite with them. Nicely done.
Pat,
I love all three but my fav is the cheer! Lean to the left, lean to the right...LOL!
Jean
Daisy: That was a cheer when I was in high school in 1962-66. I doubt that any cheerleaders use it any more!
Oh I enjoyed your limerick immensely!
I liked the first one best, it's a perfect limerick.
They are good ones, P&J! This is the first time I've seen a writing by Jerry.
My pick is the last two.
Happy Thanksgiving!
..
Oh, your weather sounds worse than mine by a long shot, Pat!! We are supposed to get more snow tomorrow, but I suspect it will just be more flurries and no accumulation! Take care! Stay warm! Holding good thoughts for you!
Sylvia
All 3 are good, but I favor the last. Well done.
Pat, 3 good ones. The second has elements of a challenge and wanting to win. My vote for the 2nd. Great!
Enjoyable takes, all :-)
All three are wonderful! Love the first...I'm a sucker for a clever limerick.
Yah, gotta have rhythm!
You're #1! You're #1!
Seriously, your #1 is number #1 in my book! Well done!
Although . . . my word verification is cattle - - is blogger trying to tell me something about going along with the herd?
Love the Limerick! In fact they're all pretty good.
well done!!
each one has a different feel and style :)
Excellent Micros. I'm afraid I did not feel at all inspired by the picture this week. :O)
What a fun limerick! (Not so fun for poor Neddy, though, eh? Thank God it's not Rudolph! Come Christmas, if it's as foggy as it is here, this morning, Santa's gonna need all of him!

My favorites are the limerick and the last one! But funny all!
that Ned was always headstrong :)
Loved them all
Happy Thanksgiving Pat to you and yours ~ Lib ~ xx
Yay for cheerleaders...sometimes they need to be put in their place!
Hello Pat,
All three verses were fantastic, but the third one in particular made me chuckle.
Yvonne
Funny ones this week! I like them all, but the first and third are my favs...
Cheers!
All are excellent and I cannot pick a favorite. Great trio! :O)
All three were fun Pat, I think the first one was my favorite. Limericks again. You and Jerry outdid yourselves. Wishing you a wonderful Thanksgiving
They are all great! Love how you did three :) The second one is my favorite. That's a cheerleader deer!
I love a good limerick. Well done!
Wonderful, all three of them:-) Each one raised a smile, but I liked the idea of a buck parading as a mustang.
