The green stuff

No, I'm not talking about that kind of green stuff, if you're an American reading this. What do you think this is?:
No, it's not lettuce. No, it's not a fungus or algae.
It's...green cookie dough!
...for greenish chocolate chip cookies for St. Patrick's Day. I thought they'd turn out greener than this, but you can see a faint greenish tinge in the centers of the cookies. It's the classic "Original Nestle Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookies" recipe on the back of the Nestle Semi-Sweet Morsels package.

The recipe said that a 24-ounce package would make 120 cookies, but when I made them, I ended up with 72. So I must have made them 66 2/3% bigger. I will be giving some of them as thank-you gifts to a couple of people and some are for the kids at my Good News Club. Those kids are such a blessing to me...they are very enthusiastic and they have all kinds of questions for me about God. They really keep me on my toes! We always have a ton of fun together. It's mostly 8- and 9-year-old girls, but one or two boys show up now and then for the cookies.

Ruth: It's great that you've taught a Good News Club before! I think they have an excellent curriculum and excellent teacher training for leading children to Christ. I've been teaching GNCs for 5 1/2 years and I just love it.
