Full moon

Saturday night around 6:30 I went outside to dump some garbage into the compost bucket and I saw a big beautiful bloooming full moon in the eastern sky.

After experimenting with different ISO settings and taking 15 pictures of the moon, I settled on AUTO ISO and chose photo number 11...and here it is in all its glory.

Is the moon tired? she looks so pale
Within her misty veil:
She scales the sky from east to west,
And takes no rest.
Before the coming of the night
The moon shows papery white;
Before the dawning of the day
She fades away.

From Sing-Song by Christina Rossetti (1830-1894)

A lovely, moody picture. No views of the full moon here this month due to cloudy skies.

Ruth: It's curious that the moon appears white sometimes and orange other times---due to differing atmospheric conditions.
