Birthday surprises

When I awoke this morning I found some surprises on the dining table from Jerry. The first thing I noticed was this miniature red rose bush in a clay pot.
I was completely surprised and delighted by it....and there was more...
...a home made card from Jerry. He cut a heart shape around an old calendar page of a Norman Rockwell print....SO cute!

And inside was a poem he created...
...which made me laugh, of course, because he always makes me laugh!

He said the most time-consuming part was cutting out all those little hearts.
Then in the afternoon my friend Jeanne came over with a bouquet of flowers and a box of chocolates, another sweet surprise.
...and on my front porch, I found an FTD box filled with these dozen roses from my youngest son, Tim and his wife Jolene. So my love bucket is full!

(Oh, by the way, the batik print on the right is a gift from Tim and Jolene from Niger.)

Oh Happy Birthday to you - and a happy Valentine's Day, too. Those are some gorgeous flowers. I'm always partial to miniature roses. :)
