No, and that's why Jerry is returning two of them to the 59th Army Band when he retires in November, and he's giving one of them to our musical son, Ben.Jerry was a competetive swimmer from age 8 through age 17. He made a U.S. national record in the backstroke when he was 10. He has saved all his medals and ribbons. Medals:

So it was a little bittersweet for him when we filled in our swimming pool with dirt last summer. I was OK with it because that meant that I wouldn't be the pool maintenance person any more and also we could have a nice garden.
He has also saved all of our sons' academic trophies:
...because he is proud of our sons (and so am I!).
